What Sort of Artist Should You Be?

Forever

In your eyes I am special
A gift, a person, your child
Your Son, you sent to die for me
Out of love, a sacrifice so great

There is none that compares to you
Your love lasts forever and I can say
“You are my God, my all in all
I could sing of your love forever.”

So I wail and I’m crying
For those times that I’ve sinned
A lie, a cheat, a scam
‘Cause that most fateful day repeats itself
With the nails, the cross, the Romans
So I wail and I’m crying

But Your plan, so perfect
Makes all of this okay
For Your will came true
And now we’re saved:
Gates of heaven opened

So I say again
“I could sing of your love forever”
And I will
‘Till the end of my days
Because
In your eyes I am special
A gift, a person, your child


This was a poem I wrote in 6th grade. It's freeverse, meaning nothing really rhymes, and there's no meter. XD But I think it came out alright. I mean, I really like writing, but I just need practice with my poetry. :)

Bonding with my PC.

I've been spending a lot of time on the computer lately. For blogging, chatting, writing stuff and most recently, rendering my drawings.


Well, yeah. There's the rendered Bellossom. :D and above it, another drawing... It's of Lapras, a Pokemon resembling a Plesiosaurus. yeah. XD I kind of rushed it, though... but, hope you like it!

I couldn't sleep without finishing the Bellossom (flowery pokemon) last night. XD Good thing this is probably going to be a short-term thing.

Those are Bellossom and Charmeleon. :D

By the way, the fiery effect didn't work with Charmeleon. :( Oh well.

The power of fire. >:)

I'm a big Pokemon fan. Ever since I was 6 years old, I've loved it. <3 I memorize them better than the Periodic Table of Elements. :)) haha. Yeah.

Anyway. Here're a couple of drawings I did late last night/early this morning. I like 'em. ^.^ I edited them a few minutes ago, on Adobe Photoshop (Ver. 7.0). Not much editing, actually. :)) I just fixed the contrast, 'cause it came out blurry on the scan. And, I realized that when I adjusted to contrast, it looked like real fire. :)) Soo cool.

Those are Ponyta (horse thing) and Moltres (bird thingiee), by the way. :D

Writing

As a lot of people know, I'm a dictator writer. :)

I used to be a JI Snoop [junior writers for a major newspaper in the Philippines]. But my term ended last year. XD
Won an essay writing contest in 6th grade. :)
Was in the the top 25 for the Readers' Digest Philippine Pen Awards 2007. :)

Anyway, I love writing. It's one of my 3 passions. Ever since I discovered I could write ^well, it's been something I love doing. Poems, essays, stories, whatever.

So, anyway, I've been writing this book. Basically, I want to let everyone know what a teen's life is really like. The ups and the downs. The pros and the cons. You get it. ;) So I came up with the characters, the plot, everything.

As of now, I'm only at chapter 5, but I'm getting along well. :) And, I've drawn a couple of the characters. As seen above.

In college, I plan to take up journalism. And literature. In my working days, I'll strive for a good job in a leading newspaper or magazine. One day, you will see my name on a book about teenage life.

But for now, I'll stick to my little blogs. I'll stick to the masterpieces I store in my computer. Then, everything will come out to show my talent. :)

Every night, I thank God for the talent He's given me. :) I thank Him for my hands to hold a pen, my brain to think up ideas, and my heart that has the passion to write. :)
